Port Harcourt - In a related development, the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has threatened to stop further lifting of petroleum products from the former Eastern part of the country to any region, if the Federal Government does not revert to the former fuel price.

analysis Balance sheet is essentially an instrument of assessing the performance of a company within a given period. It is generally about the debits and credits of an organisation or institution within a given period and the total balance therein. But we are today extending this business mechanism to generally assess the Obasanjo presidency with a view to highlighting its shortcomings and achievements as well as propounding some recommendations for better performance. But as much as we would have loved to do justice to this task, space would not allow it. Owerri, Imo - Detained leader of the Movement for the Actuallisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, on Friday secured his release after being in detention since March 29, even as he promised to keep up the fight for the state of Biafra.

MRS. Ngozi Uwazurike is a very bitter woman. For the past two months, her husband, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, has been clamped into detention following the March 29, 2003 clash between the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) members and the police at Okigwe, Imo State.

Asaba - THIRTY-TWO members of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) were, yesterday, arraigned before an Asaba Chief Magistrate's Court on a three-count charge of alleged unlawful assembly and wearing of army camouflage uniform, but were, however, granted bail. While another batch of eight including their leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, who were brought down, yesterday, from Abuja to Asaba was transferred to Owerri.
