Lawyers representing the leadership of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MOSOP), have failed to get their clients released on bail because the accused did not sign the application, the Supreme Court has ruled.

Port Harcourt - GOVEMENT for Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) activities have threatened to lead boycott of impending national elections to protest perceived injustices against their constituents. MASSOB would engage in non-violence actions in tackling "injustice and marginalization suffered by people of eastern Nigeria, according to regional administrator in Port Harcourt, Isaac Ofoegbu.

Anambra - The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) have concluded plans to impose a sit-at-home order within their territories as part of respect and rites of passage for the over 200 members of MASSOB allegedly killed by security operatives.

Lagos - Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, yesterday described the Federal Government as lawless and deliberately flouting the elementary principles of due process. Soyinka made this comment during a press conference addressed by Coalition for the Freedom of Dokubo and Uwazuruike (COFDU), a solidarity group canvassing the release of the leader of Niger Delta Peoples Voluteer Force (NDPVF), Mr. Mujahid Asari-Dokubo and Mr. Ralph Uwazuruike of the Masses for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) at NUJ House, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

opinion Lagos - For the Nigerian politician, the twin arts of double speak and double standards have become a dangerous pastime, a vocation also shared by most political analysts and social commentators in this clime.
