The leader of the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has confirmed the release of its members detained in Enugu, Awka and Nasarawa prisons respectively. - Uwazuruike in a statement in Owerri yesterday said the members at the Keffi prisons were freed alongside the Director of Information, Comrade Uchenna Madu and three others while those being detained at Kuje prisons were still in detention. Chief Uwazuruike urged the freed members to remain steadfast in the struggle for the freedom of Biafra. He warned splinter groups such as Eastern People's Congress (EPC), Biafra Must Be (Biamus),National Working Committee (NWC),MASSOB International (Mi),and Biafra Mandate Union (BMU),not to hide under the cover of MASSOB to cause trouble. He pointed that some of the splinter groups operating lack focus and ideology. The MASSOB leader urged security operatives in the country to arrest anyone who attempts to use the name of MASSOB to perpetrate evil in the society.05/05/2009

In the same vein propaganda alone without adequate and strategic planning does not win an election, especially in Nigeria, where you must go out of the norms to win an election.
